LIFE
The LIFE Programme is the European Union’s only financial instrument dedicated exclusively to the environment. Its main objective is to help to develop, apply and update European environmental legislation and have it form part of each Member State’s own environmental policies.
The LIFE IREKIBAI project forms part of Life-Nature, which aims to contribute towards the application of the European directive on nature conservation in order to maintain and improve the natural habitats and animal and/or plant species of Community interest in “Natura 2000” Network sites.
